Langlois is an independent community in Curry County, Oregon. It was established in 1881 and was named after William Langlois, an early Oregon pioneer and is pronounced, “Langless.” Langlois has a has a population of nearly 200 people, and was once famous for its blue cheese. Langlois is located 41 miles north of Gold Beach and is approximately two miles inland from the Pacific Ocean.
