Located just about 75 miles north of the California border sits Port Orford, a quiet little community of approximately 1300.
Port Orford is the only port along the Oregon coast with no river bar. A natural harbor, which was first discovered in 1851 by Captain William Tichoner, has been developed into a modern-day unique fishing community.
Scuba divers, kayakers and windsurfers all enjoy this wonderful port, as well as those commercial buyers who wait anxiously for the catch of the day!
Port Orford is home to commercial fishing and historic Battle Rock
